In today’s fast-paced world we often forget about the fauna and flora that surround us. Plants and animals are always there but sometimes tucked away from view living a life not unlike us – waking up, going about their daily business and falling asleep. Unfortunately, some of them are either disappearing or have already become extinct.

We want to capture the beauty of this world and get you to take time to appreciate the wonders of nature in our high-quality, hard-wearing and beautiful silks. We believe this way we can understand better what enriches our lives and makes life more diverse. Appreciation of beauty is the first step to getting inspired about working towards its preservation.

The ENDEMIC NAVY scarf design includes the endemic species of Australian plants and New Zealand animals. Among New Zealand's fauna, the most noteworthy are endangered species such as Huia birds, Kea Nestor Notabilis, Kākāriki parrots, and the well-known Kiwi flightless bird. One of them, Huia, was last seen in 1907 in the Tararua Ranges.

New Zealand still boasts a variety of species not seen anywhere else, such as the Tanguru Chafer beetle, and the Ngarongaro wai and the Pūriri moths.
